Find out how much you need to spend for the application and court fees. Once you have the cash ready and have completed the form, you will have to submit it to a court clerk who will then ask you to sign a statement to confirm that what you have written on the forms are true.
The clerk will then hand over your application to the judge. A meeting with a judge is necessary if there are inconsistencies or any problems with the application. Then you are on your way to bankruptcy protection in no time.
