The real question, however, is this: will Banksy ever go fully public? Will he “come out” so to speak? Doing so would be very risky because part of his cachet is his secrecy.  He seems to represent the common man by remaining anonymous - and going public would smash this image to pieces as no doubt going public would involve so much media fodder written about the “real Banksy”, and so many interview requests etc. Perhaps he knows it’s best to remain in the shadows?
