This would allow you to multitask in informing a huge number of people in a short amount of time. This will also benefit the person the message is intended to especially when he is busy in the middle of something and could not take your call. This is a better alternative as opposed to having to call and spend more when all you need from the person is a brief reply. This method of communication is by far cheaper in many instances.
