The close quarters makes it easy for germs to spread and I was concerned that the cruise lines were not keeping the ships really clean. He called our travel agent who assured us of the cleanliness of a specific cruise line. She mailed us a brochure that explains the cruise lines cleaning process and use of commercial cleaners to ensure sanitary conditions on their ships.
