Internship Positions

RADIUS Internship positions available now and in the spring of 2007  For all positions we are looking for someone who: has a great personality is easy to get along with has a great work ethic has excellent written and verbal communication skills has the ability to work alone or in a group setting is able to work with a variety of different personalities enjoys turning abstract tasks and ideas into tangible results  Responsibilities Include:  1.      Marketing Interns      -Working with Non Profit Liaison Interns to generate effective and cost efficient marketing strategies for events and the availability of the incubator project      - Working with various members of the board of directors to generate effective and cost efficient marketing strategies for increasing general awareness of Radius      -Working with events coordinator to improve current events and develop strategies for advertising upcoming events      -Implementing those strategies on a limited budget      -Working with various external marketing departments      -Marketing events appropriately to different demographics      -Advertising to all San Antonio campuses       -Seeking out and taking advantage of new marketing opportunities  2.      Events Coordinating Interns      -Serving as on site representative for Radius during some events      -Seeking out and organizing new events for Radius      -Improving building policies for events and implementing them appropriately      -Working with marketing interns to develop and implement strategies for increasing the awareness and rentals of the building for public and private events      -Working with Radius and non Radius event coordinators to have effective events that will promote the mission of Radius  3.      Non Profit Liaison Interns      -Working with Marketing Intern to generating awareness of the incubator project -Working with Non-Profits to coordinate incubation schedules -Developing and manage a non-profit events calendar for San Antonio -Developing criteria for event submissions from NPOs and overseeing and regulating those submissions -Informing non-profits of Radius’ resources and the availability of those resources for their use (e.g. free or reduced prices on event space, NPO events calendar, conference room availability, incubator project, etc)  Our internship oppositions are all unpaid positions but the hours are flexible and negotiable.  All inquiries and résumé submissions can be directed to: radiusoffice@yahoo.com www.radiuscafe.org
