The Cutest Guy in My Class
January 30, 2010 3:46 am ReferenceI was so bummed to find out in high school that this cute guy who sat next to me was exmormon, or maybe not technically exmormon, but definitely had not desire to go to church. He was always very kind to me, sharing the snacks he brought, and he wrote the nicest comment in my yearbook. Once he was commenting about a guy, “What is it like to have everyone hate you?” I joked, “Well, I’ll tell you.” He said, “Oh, shut-up! No one hates you!” I laughed at my compliment that sounded more like an insult by his tone, but he really did like me. I’m glad he never asked me out though because it would’ve been a painful thing to break up with him.
