Australian lunar coins featuring Chinese astrological animals

Chinese astrology is fascinating. With the Chinese zodiac structured according to the twelve different animals it is extremely interesting to learn about how each of the animals has a harmonious and inharmonious relationship to the other animals. As  regular collector of coins, I was both surprised and excited when I learned that you can get Australian lunar coins that feature each of the Chinese astrological animals. I had always wanted to get an OX coin and when I found that these coins were still available I quickly snapped up a few to add to my collection. The great thing about these lunar coins is that you can collect them each time a new one is released which allows you to accumulate the full set of twelve over the course of the full twelve year cycle.
