Economy Benefits From Kindle Accessories Market

When something like the Amazon Kindle reader comes along, I think it’s really good for the economy as whole. E-book readers have been around for a while now but, with absolutely no disrespect to Sony whatsoever, it was only in 2009 that they really caught the public imagination - and much of the credit has to go to Amazon. The launch of both the Kindle 2.0 and the Kindle DX really helped e-book readers take off. The thing is, it’s not just Amazon, Sony, Apple, Microsoft and the rest of the reader manufacturers who stand to gain. Independent, third party manufacturers of kindle accessories - reading lights, covers, screen protectors, chargers, etc. - are also benefiting from a market which pretty much wasn’t there eighteen months ago.
